These pictures are taken 9 months after I first cut off all my hair. Therefore, there are no preparations pictures. The chop and crop were done months ago. I've given my hair a few extra days to grow, but limitations of my camera may make it difficult to see the stubble at times.

Oh, and if you're looking for pictures of me in the shower (assuming you read the associated text before jumping here), sorry. These were taken at a science fiction convention by a friend with whom I was sharing my hotel room. It's been a while since I had shaved my head without being in the shower, and it was an object lesson to me not do do so again.

Figure 1. The obligatory "before picture." You can't really see the soap I've got on my head, but trust me, it's there.

Figure 2. The first pass, front to back, up the center.

Figure 3. Notice how I'm leading the blade with the fingers of my right hand. I'm left handed, so your technique may have to be adjusted to compensate.

Figure 4. Finishing up the side near the ears

Figure 5. Again, I'm leading the blade by touch. Don't need any mirrors.

Figure 6. A closer look. I'm using my fingers to tell where I have and haven't shaved.

Figure 7. The back, done...

Figure 8. ...and the front.
